How to Cancel

You can cancel your Paperman subscription at any time through self-service in your account settings.

  1. Log in to your Paperman account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Select Subscription
  4. Click Cancel Subscription
  5. Confirm your cancellation

No need to email us or give advance notice. You're in control.

What Happens When You Cancel

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Your access to premium content continues until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation
  • After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier

Annual Subscriptions

  • Your access to premium content continues until the end of your 12-month period
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation
  • After your subscription period ends, your account reverts to the free tier

After Cancellation

Free Tier Access

Once your paid subscription ends, you can still:

  • Access your account
  • Use free quizzes
  • View selected free notes

You simply lose access to premium content.

Your Data

  • We retain your account data, quiz scores, and study progress for up to 12 months after cancellation
  • This means if you resubscribe, your progress will still be there
  • Certain data may be kept longer for legal and analytical purposes
  • See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention

Resubscribing

You can resubscribe at any time. There is no waiting period.

However, free trials are for new users only. If you resubscribe after cancelling, you will be charged immediately at the standard subscription rate.

No Refunds for Cancellation

Cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund.

  • Monthly subscribers: No refund for remaining days in the billing period
  • Annual subscribers: No partial refund for remaining months

Account Deletion

Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account.

  • Cancellation = You stop paying, revert to free tier, keep your account and data
  • Deletion = Your account and data are permanently removed

If you want to delete your account entirely, you can do so through account settings. This action is permanent.
